• Minimum 1- 2 years of Experience in E&M coding with CPC certification

• Responsibilities and Duties

• To Extract all necessary information and assign codes (CPT, ICD-10-CM & HCPCS) which most accurately describe each documented diagnosis, surgical procedure and special therapy.
• To analyze Provider documentation to assure the appropriate Evaluation & Management (E&M) levels are assigned using the correct CPT Code.
• Ensure proper coding on provider documentation.
• Reading and analyzing patient records, determining the correct codes for patient records.
